Two for One

Last night, Japs attended the 2012 Globe Tatt Awards held at the NBC tent. She was nominated for the Thought-Mover category, which gives honor to the most influential personalities on Twitter. Our princess didn't win but she bagged two special awards: People's Choice and Trending Personality. Who can dare say that our efforts for voting for her went to waste? As per Ms. Divine Lee, it was "a grand slam!"

Here are some photos from the event. Japs' rockstar dress was designed by Happy Andrada.

Before the night ended, Japs tweeted this and, really, who wouldn't admire this sweet young lady? :)

Eenie Beanie Lover

After looking through Japs' cap collection, let's travel back to the not-so-distant past and see how much she loves wearing beanies.

Seems like Toyang, her character in Together Forever, and the real Julie Anne does not differ much in style. Don't you agree? ;)

Black Aztec

Aztec prints are really popular nowadays and they come in different colors on different outfit pieces. However, it is a little rare to find Aztec prints in black and white, and on a blazer. It gives trendy a classic twist, like what Japs did by wearing a pair of shorts with said blazer. Having Aztec-printed clothes doesn't mean that it's the only print you can wear. Don't be afraid to mix in other types of designs like polka dots, florals, stripes, etc. Japs wore an animal-print necklace with her Aztecs then neutralized the look with low-heeled booties that are simple yet still stylish. ;)

Japs Sk8s

Yesterday, Japs went to the Go Skateboarding Day event in World Trade Center. We collected some photos that surfaced the net and of course, she was all clad in Vans apparel! Apparently, Japs beat Don Allado in a skate-off then taught @johnnyverse (Jon Herrera) to skate. How cool is that? ;) For more details on what happened at the event, check this post at kcmontero.com.

Cap Collection

If you're an avid supporter of Julie Anne, you must know that she loves to collect caps. Whether to add additional style to an outfit, or protect her from the sun, she loves wearing them on different occasions. Being a true Vans girl, the cap-lover in Julie must be very happy because she gets to select caps of different designs from their collections. Here she is wearing them on and off the spotlight:

With the advent of Together Forever and boyish Toyang, we're guessing we'll see more of this style from Japs. ;) And good news, you can get hold of your own Vans caps at tomorrow's Go Skateboarding event at the World Trade Center for a lower price. :)

@Vansphmanila: Awesome Vans trucker caps! Score these at a very low price on

Unreel: Kangoo Jump-ing

Japs recently uploaded this photo of her, saying she's enjoying the Kangoo Jumps. We got curious and searched for some information regarding these unique-looking pair of shoes. As per their website, Kangoo Jumps are a special type of footwear with 33 benefits ranging from joint protection to advantages in terms of posture. The benefits are all related to the design of the shoes and the materials used in creating them. Sounds interesting, and useful! We wonder if Japs got herself a pair.
